SMIPA Professional Year Accounting Program – Entry Requirements
To be eligible for the SMIPA Professional Year in Accounting you must have:
- Completed a recognised Accounting degree in Australia that provides a minimum of 2 years credit points. This must be completed over a minimum of 18 months- Completion Letter and Official Transcripts.
- Obtained or applied for a Temporary Visa Subclass 485 with a minimum 12 months validity
- A current IELTS score or equivalent of 6.0 overall and not less than 6.0 in any band or PTE – 50 overall and not less than 50 in any band
- A Migration Skills Assessment from an accounting professional association
ACS IT Professional Year Program – Entry Requirements
To be eligible for the ACS Professional Year in IT you must have:
- Completed a recognised IT degree in Australia that provides a minimum of 2 years credit points. This must be completed over a minimum of 18 months
- Obtained or applied for a Graduate (Temporary) Visa (subclass 485) with a minimum 12 months validity
- A current IELTS score or equivalent of 6.0 overall and not less than 5.0 in any band
Engineer’s Australia Professional Year Program – Entry Requirements
To qualify for the Engineers Australia’s Professional Year in Engineering Program, you must:
- have completed an undergraduate or postgraduate award in Australia in Engineering
- hold a valid skills assessment from Engineering Education Australia
- hold or applied for a 485 visa (either stream) with at least 12 months validity or;
- hold an eligible Secondary Visa with work and study rights with at least 12 months validity
- have a minimum IELTS score of 6.0 with no band below 5, or equivalent
- Offshore university graduates may be eligible to complete the Professional Year in Engineering on a 476 visa.
